U.S. Copts Association Southern California Chapter Mobilizes Coptic-American Vote

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 27, 2004 — The U.S. Copts Association has partnered with its Southern California members to mobilize the Coptic-American vote for the coming presidential election. By identifying specific areas of the country to which Copts immigrate, the Association hopes to target eligible voters for registration.
In a related effort, U.S. Copts Association is conducting a census of Copts in the Southern California region. The census is part of U.S. Copts Associations ongoing efforts to gather data on the size, geographic location, and nature of the Coptic communities within the United States. The Census collects typical demographic statistics such as number in household, as well as determines the citizenship status of immigrant and American-born Copts.
