State Council Deputy Labib Halim said the amendments by the Holy Synod of the Coptic Church are unconstitutional and that the courts could refuse them.
He criticized Holy Synod Deputy Dr. Tharwat Bassily for having said that State Council councilors who are senior than Halim have endorsed the amendments.
